Are'nt they beautiful, so majestic and proud. l thought the grey was younger than that, he did'nt really look to happy, but it was very hot.

There is one of Vic with a nibbler (after the fingers) and me with another nibbler:o))The owners said we could stroke them but they just like to nibble.

The Horses:o)))....

Are'nt they gorgeous.
The foal is 3 months old, he's so frisky and cheeky they gave him some milk in the hope he would stand still. He was found in a ditch, no mother anywhere in sight!!

The chestnut l'm not sure what happened to her, but she is again very lively.
The mother and foal were part of group of 6 racing horses found in a terrible staight - so much muck in the stable they could'nt open the door and a foal lying at its mothers feet dead!! she has since had this foal, which she was expecting when they found her!!!!

Horse charity:o)))

Went to the Horse Charity open day today, got there about 13.45pm!! The lady who deals with raising funds etc wanted to put £20 on my Cat Bag!!!!! but l suggested at the most £15.
There was a parade at 2pm and oh my word it brought tears to your eyes, all the stories as to why the horses were there!!!! One horse that did'nt enter the parade is so ill and old, he was too weak!! 6 others were involved in a road traffic accident last SUNDAY!!!!! ONE WAS KILLED AT THE ACCIDENT, 2 were put down and 3 are with the sanctuary. one with really nasty wounds!!!! how the hell this happened l really don't know. But l would like to meet the owner of the horses!!!!!

We saw the foal that was found in a ditch in May, he is so full of life and cheeky and his name is Alexandra - 3 months old!!! Picture's to follow!!

The Squirrel........

These 2 photos are the best of the group l took, the ears indicate a grey one, but the colour is abit baffling!! will see what the Gwent Wild Trust think. l thinks either old or poorly as it was very tatty. Not seen it since 29th june 08.
